Hello, my name is Meagen Mealer. Thank you for visiting Holistic Mystic.
About me, well as you know, it is very hard to write about oneself, but here it goes...
About 15 years ago I decided that my family's religious doctrine was not for me and began a quest for my own understanding of God. Since that time I have explored many different religions and belief systems. In 2001 I stumbled across the New Thought philosophy. These ideas have molded my understanding of God and as such lead me to begin studies as an Interfaith minister.

Since 1998 I have worked towards social justice for those who find themselves to be homeless. I counsel, offer career advice and give lots of hugs to individuals from all walks of life. It is very rewarding and challenging all at once. Did you know that 3.5 million people are homeless each year in the United States?
I also am a master level Reiki practitioner and have a master's degree in psychology. Currently I am working on a theory of combining alternative therapy and psychology together with spirituality. There is much talk over this now as the western world is beginning to open up to a higher consciousness.
Einstein believed that all of life was energy and I agree whole heartedly with this idea. We are matter made of atoms that are in constant motion. We are energy and we have the power to change that energy positively or negatively. It is our choice.
